Rude Awakening

Blinded by the Mist of uncertainty,

Today I am alone under the murky sky...

I am drenched in the rain of tears,

I m wondering how long would I survive?

I was wandering through the fathomless sky

happily hunting for the rainbow of dreams...

I was engrossed in my own world of hopes and desires

Till life introduced me to its rude awakening!

Friends, fun ,love & laughter

was the simple definition of my life.

I was a stranger to all trials and tribulations,

I was unaware of all the obstacles and strife…

I was on my way ,

chasing my aspirations and the treasured dreams...

I wanted to live life to the fullest,

Till I came across the rude awakening !

Priceless are the moments spent with you,

You have always given each morning of my life a meaning- fresh & new.

The happiness, the laughter, the gossips & fun,

I shall cherish each moment in the rain and the sun.

You followed like my shadow at times of grief and pain...

I bet I would never get such a true friend in my life ever again.


My heart shivers at the very thought of departing from you…

It would be the worst day of my life,

That would take me far away from you.

None of us would know

Destiny can’ t be altered

Wishes can’t be borrowed.

Life might bring us to a phase,

Of bidding adieu to each other…

Nothing can split our friendship, dear friend,

In our thoughts, prayers and memories

We'd be together forever !

Let the silence speak

Amidst all the mirth & laughter between them...
There somewhere prevailed a silence ….
a sweet silence…
Full of unexpressed , unspoken words …

Words she had shared with him in her dreams ,
Words he had shared with her in his thoughts
Words that reveal that they love each other a lot.

Love is a feeling difficult to hide
But his smile knows to veil the ongoing pain inside …
Love though being a divine bond
Is a feeling, hard to express
But her twinkling eyes knows to conceal the ongoing distress

Words at times are not enough,
Hence Silence is what we seek...
They are still waiting for the day when their golden silence would speak.

The Conflict

I don't know what is right,
Neither do I know what's wrong,
I don't know the upshots of my actions...
Can You help me to overcome this conflict that's going on?

My heart tells me 'Go Ahead',
But mind summons to ' Stop, Think & Act',
The consequences might crown me as the Winner...
It might also lead to my Defeat,
Tell me how ? How can I conquer this inner conflict?

At times the heart suggests me to Wait
But mind proposes to Move On !
Don't put me in such dilemmas, Oh Life...
Please help me rout this inner conflict that's going on !

The Heart preaches that forgiving is Victory,
The Mind echoes 'Forgetting is your defeat'
Have mercy on me O Lord !
Help me unravel this Inner Conflict !
